2nd July 2012
I was hoping to have started my blog this season a little earlier than this, but with working on the other side of the county and the strange weather conditions it has not happened.
I have managed a few five's the biggest going 5lb 15oz which had me thinking for a moment it was one of the big ones. Also a couple of big fish slipped the hook, which was a blow as they felt decent. The bream I won’t mention as it will get Mick twitchy.
Hopefully the weather will settle down soon, and some sort of plan can be hatched a new stock of 3-B is on the way so some serious baiting can begin. On another good note I have not seen the otters as yet this season, that is not to say they have moved, but if they have, then I shall be a happy man.
cheers for now nairny

Bloody work eh? Like you I too have had more than my share lately that has seriously affected my options to get out, that and the shit storm of family traumas that have descended on Helen and I.
Cracking river pig for Adie, that boy`s getting amongst them now, must be the master`s influence.
As for the otters, I too, hope they`ve moved to pastures new and when you`ve managed to create your 3B island in the Stour, I`ll try and come down and watch you reap the benefits.

Anyone want any cray fish traps?
