River Ribble Empty River Ribble

Well I have decided to hit the Ribble at Ribchester this Saturday with John Conway for my end of season session. I am going to try out one rod on my new concept barbel bait and the other on 3-B. Really looking forward to it as I have not fished this river properly and it is always refreshing to try new waters to see how well you can adapt. I will let you know how I get on Wink

Well I failed miserably on the Ribble, I think I forgot to tie a hook on! Still, John Conway had 3 respectable barbel (2 of them on 3-B), and Gemma caught her 1st chub at 3 lb 11 oz on 3-B so I cannot complain at that. I think it will be good to give it another visit in the new season as it has a lot of potential with barbel running to 14 lb Rolling Eyes
