Well how about this one for a 'LUMP'....Iain's net shows the impressive size of this chub that took a liking to paste. Guess the weight

Has Iain been using a child`s landing net again?
Seriously if that is a standard sized landing net I reckon it might be a new PB for Mr Nairn.
If I had to put a number on it 7lb12oz. Mind you those Stour chub always look a lot bigger than they sometimes weigh, very deep in the chest. Whereas a chub from the Thames often carries a lot of it`s weight in it`s width.

I am reliably informed that it is not a minnow net and indeeed is one of the Stour big girls. Not a bad guess mate.
